FACT is a Long Island, New York based non-profit organization established with the aims of creating awareness and raising funds for breast cancer research. Founded in 2001, FACT is becoming a major fundraiser for breast cancer research. As a dedicated emerging force in breast cancer advocacy, we have seen that the events we hold have a momentum that engulfs all those involved. Our cause and mission to eradicate breast cancer is extremely important to our foundation all families touched by this disease.
Our intent is to support institutions with dynamic and dedicated breast cancer researchers. We have provided grants to the American Cancer Society, and directly to the highly innovative research of Senthil Muthuswamy at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on Long Island. Research at CSHL is among the most progressive in the world and focuses on understanding the causes of breast cancer at the cellular level. Fact is a totally charitable organization. All members of our foundation donate their time and efforts and do not receive a salary or compensation. We do this from our hearts to reach the ultimate goal that we are committed to—finding a cure for breast cancer.
